VICTORIA K Announces Sophomore Album “Kore” October 2022

Australia’s Victoria K returns in 2022 for the discharge of the sophomore album “Kore” this coming back Gregorian calendar month via Rockshots Records to follow the 2020 debut album “Essentia“.

Offering up progressive symphonic sound, “Kore“ was specifically written to produce a full musical organization expertise that drives individuals through a sonic journey of growth and grandeur.

A concept record, “Kore” explores contemporary problems through the Homeric Hymn to Demeter (the story of Persephone). Victoria K conceptualized the concept for the album together with her producer Lee Bradshaw and so spent several months researching and analyzing the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, even meeting with specialists of the Homeric Hymns from Hellenic Republic. The story was then jerky into its completely different components wherever Victoria Knight wrote the lyrics and developed the melodies for every section of the story, exploring the parable from a contemporary perspective.

The tracks were written specifically to encapsulate the varied sections of the Homeric Hymn to Demeter and tell the story chronologically through every song and also the music grows in intensity throughout the record capturing the emotion of Persephone and alternative characters because the story progresses.

The various instruments were then written by Victoria round the lyrics and more increased and developed through the assembly method. Lee Bradshaw then finalized the songs by writing musical organization scores for every song, that were recorded board Europe, before the ultimate combination and mastering.
